[VIDEO] Margaret Klein Salamon on the Emergency Climate Movement

The Climate Mobilization's director Margaret Klein Salamon recently spoke to Youth Climate Report about the transformative power of climate truth, building the emergency climate movement, and emotional and cultural elements of our climate crisis.

Watch the 20-minute video for more about how social movements throughout history can inform the climate movement, why it's time to shift away from "carbon gradualism" toward goals that are scientifically realistic and morally justified, and how Margaret's background in anthropology and psychology, and her writing on The Climate Psychologist blog, led to the Pledge to Mobilize.

The Youth Climate Report is a youth-led documentary initiative that operates under the leadership of Neko Harbour Productions, in partnership with the United Nations Environment Programme and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate.
