Jefferson City's Case for Climate Action

How do you feel about climate change?

Join us on National Climate Mobilization Day to learn about the dynamics of climate change. The presentation offered will discuss various topics, to include the primary causes of change, commentary from those in top-level science communities, as well as what we can do as individuals to practice and promote sustainable living. It’s on our part to take personal initiative and learn how climate change affects us, but more importantly, we must each be willing to make the changes necessary today in order to promote healthy, renewable living conditions for years to come.

The event will be held Sunday, June 14th in the second floor art gallery at Missouri River Regional Library. The presentation will begin promptly at 2:30, and will run no later than one hour, with a short discussion following. Refreshments will be provided!

See the National Climate Mobilization Day page for info on 6/14 solidarity events around the country, and tweet/post with the hashtag #MobilizeNow.

For more info, check out The Climate Mobilization's website, and consider signing the Pledge to Mobilize or Mobilization petition and mobilizing yourself!
