July 10: National Day of Action for WWII-scale Climate Mobilization

This July, the movement to save civilization and the living world from catastrophic climate change will take the next step toward victory: The 2nd National Day of Action calling for a WWII-scale mobilization to restore a safe climate.

Last summer, hundreds of Mobilizers in 15 cities across the United States, as well as allies in Mexico and France, held rallies and events calling on governments to commence a massive climate mobilization to save us.

In particular, they championed the Pledge to Mobilizewhich demands a full-employment Climate Mobilization that drives the U.S. economy to net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2025, and the global economy to net zero emissions by 2030.

On July 10, we will take to the streets across America to demand a Climate Mobilization again. At the height of the 2016 campaign season, we will make clear that the American people DEMAND climate action on the scale and with the speed necessary to protect everything we love.

We welcome all courageous, moral people to organize events, rallies, direct actions, and more calling for WWII-scale mobilization to save civilization. Please contact The Climate Mobilization Deputy Director Ezra Silk at ezra.silk@gmail.com if you are interested in holding an event.
