The wartime name and imagery is super gross.

I don't like the name or the patriotic/wartime messaging and imagery. It seems like tone deaf marketing from a bunch of privileged white folks who aren't concerned about ending colonialism and imperialism. This is such a good example of the privilege and class issues in the climate movement.

    But, this example may be helpful because we have mobilized like this before so we know we can do it and it is a fight, a battle. The fossil fuel industry is a powerful opponent and the climate catastrophe can be seen as a war, as McKibben says, as having no mercy and who is winning.
