The Climate Mobilization is proud to announce the formation of our initial Mobilization Advisory Board. The Advisory Board will grow as we grow as an organization. Our mobilization advisors will provide insight, expertise, from across fields, strategy ideas, connections to others, and wisdom.
Marshall Herskovitz: Hollywood director, writer, and producer, and former President of the Producers Guild of America. Marshall is a staunch advocate of a World War II-scale climate mobilization and has advised TCM since its pre-launch days.
Michael Mann: Director of the Earth System Science Center at Pennsylvania State University, lead author on the IPCC Third Assessment Report, and courageous fighter for climate truth in the face of politically-motivated attacks on science. Mann is also an advocate of a WW II-scale climate mobilization.
David Spratt: Co-author of Climate Code Red (2008) and papers including Recount: It's Time to "Do the Math" Again and, with Ian Dunlop "Dangerous Climate Warning: Myth, Reality, and Risk Management." (or see the Video Presentation) David's work has demonstrated a courageous dedication to climate truth.
Philip Sutton: Co-author of Climate Code Red (2008), longtime advocate of WWII-scale climate mobilization, and Australian leader in emergency climate activism. Philip has advised TCM since before its launch, helped write the Pledge to Mobilize, and has been invaluable in helping us make the scientific argument for an emergency Climate Mobilization.
We are thrilled to be advised by such a committed, talented, and distinguished group.
We are in the process of reaching out to other leaders and luminaries, including Pledge signers Ralph Nader, Winona LaDuke, and Marshall Saunders (Founder of Citizen's Climate Lobby) -- so stay tuned!
