Cognitive History, China, and the Climate Crisis: A Discussion with Jeremy Lent

Jeremy Lent is an author and integrator.  His 2017 book, The Patterning Instinct explores how  mindsets and values have shaped history, particularly drawing a distinction between the Western mindset and the Chinese mindset.  George Monbiot called The Patterning Instinct, "The most profound and far-reaching book I have ever read!" You can see a trailerfor the book here.

Margaret and Jeremy will discuss The Patterning Instinct, and how this knowledge can be applied to instigating the climate mobilization that we need. We will also discuss  the possibilities for Chinese leadership on the climate crisis, which Jeremy has also written about.
